Soramimi !

This is a shrine dedicated to my favorite anime and manga, Azumanga Daioh ! Azumanga Daioh is a simple slice of life with silly high school girls growing up and eventually graduating. And as I write this, I am preparing to graduate myself. I've looked back at the girls' journey to reflect on my own. I'm not the best at socializing or keeping friends. I yearned and still do for just a silly friend group to hang out with. But it's not that easy. I hate large groups in real life. I struggle with keeping focus and get overwhelmed, and I just feel bad. So I tend to only really hang out with one or more people. And sometimes with more if it's family. Which isn't bad. I love my friends, but it can feel isolating. Especially when you do have tendencies to isolate yourself as a coping mechanism. But Azumanga has made me look back. Appreciate those who were there. Old friends and old attempts with people. I don't hate most of them. I may kinda get embarrassed by how I act at times. But I want to look back fondly at my interactions, even if I struggled. This show, and especially the manga, has helped me through harder times and made me smile. I don't need a big group of friends to enjoy life. I just need what I already have. I'm trying to be a little better socially, and it's hard. But these girls made me realize I CAN. I have a very nice life despite everything, and I will look back happily on the people I met. I still get envious and watch Azumanga for wishing I could interact like them, and things were simpler. But I love what I have. And what am I anyway. Enjoy life.

Suppermentry Lessons, OVA, Games, and other media

Suppermentry lessons is an additon to the azumanga manga. They are pretty basic but not a bad read. My favorite segment was one of the more popular ones from this batch, and thats the Kaorin "I"M NOT A LESBAIN" one. Yes this is translation related i assume but i love how kaorin seems to be learning more about herself.
